Welcome To Musical Vacation

We are excited to announce the launch of two unique “MUSICAL VACATION” excursions to COSTA RICA. The first excursion will be from October 18th to the 25th with guest artists KEVIN MCKRELL and KATE TAYLOR. The second trip will be from October 26th to November 1st, featuring GREG BROWN and BILL KIRCHEN.

The concept of these family-friendly tours is simple: an immersion into the culture and natural wonders of Costa Rica, one of the most beautiful and increasingly popular sites on earth – combined with seminar workshops & performances offered by our guest musicians.

Costa Rica, a peaceful democracy with no army, is the perfect safe destination for a relaxing vacation experience. It offers breathtaking geography filled with lush tropical life and genuinely friendly people.

These pleasurable & educational excursions, led by Phil Ciganer, will begin in San Jose, traveling by motor coach through the mountainous scenery. We will stop along the way at Turu Ba Ri Park – a perfect introduction to Costa Rica (botanical & butterfly gardens, jungle canopy platforms & zip lines, our fabulous lunch of traditional Costa Rican dishes prepared in front of us in an open-air kitchen, etc, etc). We will then continue to Manuel Antonio, just south of Quepos, where we will have the exclusive use of the Hotel Karahe – an intimate boutique hotel right on the beach.

The following morning, we will begin the morning seminar workshops with our musical guides. You may want to spend your afternoons just relaxing on one of the most scenic beaches in the world – just outside your door – or take advantage of the many other activities available. Manuel Antonio National Park will be a short walk from our hotel, offering nature trails with beautiful secluded beaches, plus a variety of wildlife including monkeys, sloths and a multitude of birds, etc. Those seeking more exciting activities can try white water rafting, surfing, sailing, sport fishing, horse back riding and many other pursuits available locally. In the evenings, there will be special performances for our guests.

Enrollment will be limited to ensure an intimate experience with our gifted artists. You will be able to explore your interest in music & nature, and celebrate it with a small group of like-minded people in this magnificent and totally relaxed tropical setting.
